My Philosophy:
With a background in exercise science related to baseball training, I believe that athletes today are typically “over-coached” on throwing mechanics which leads to rigid, un-athletic movement. While kinetic sequencing is important, most youth athletes simply lack strength capacity and confidence to perform in game settings. My mission is to help athletes identify their limiting factors, build a routine for themselves, and pitch like an athlete to improve performance and reduce the risk of injury.
What to Expect:
Initial evaluation
Each athlete will receive a baseline assessment in their first lesson. An ArmCare sensor device is used to test areas of shoulder range of motion and grip strength. Additionally, hip mobility and t-spine mobility will be addressed in order to identify limits in range of motion and build a proper individualized warm up routine. Finally, athlete power output will be assessed with lower body plyometric testing.
Creating a Plan:
A file will be created for my own record on each athlete with their baseline measurements, goals, and current workload/playing schedule. After analyzing video of throwing mechanics, specific drills will be prescribed to help the athlete clean up with mechanical flaws.
Additional Services:
Individualized strength and conditioning programs for athletes to get better on their own.

Jon Fleck
(Hitting & pitching lessons)
(B.S Sports and Entertainment Management / M.S Business Administration)
Jon Fleck, an outfielder from Stewartsville, NJ, made a lasting impact on Centenary University’s baseball program, setting a school record for career doubles (48) and sharing the single-season doubles record (14). A career .331 hitter with 182 hits, 117 RBIs, and 116 runs scored, he established himself as one of the program’s top players. Now playing for the Martins Creek Creekers and Lehigh Valley Angels, Jon remains active in high-level competition. A two-time Second Team All Mid-Atlantic East honoree and former Centenary Player of the Year, he brings extensive experience and a deep understanding of the game to his coaching. His goal is to help young players develop strong fundamentals, grow their confidence, and learn to play the game the right way.
My coaching philosophy is built on developing strong fundamentals while making the game fun and engaging. I emphasize effort over outcome because baseball challenges players with failure, and learning to handle adversity is just as important as perfecting mechanics. I teach players to view mistakes as opportunities for growth rather than setbacks. Beyond just improving skills, I focus on teaching discipline, teamwork, and accountability—lessons that benefit them both on and off the field. I lead by example, always bringing a positive attitude, respect for the game, and a passion for continuous improvement. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to refine your skill s to help you build confidence, play the game the right way, and have fun doing it. I’ve always said, “You get out of it what you put into it,” and that’s a lesson I emphasize with every player I coach.
